Grapeseed oil offers the lowest concentration of mono-unsaturated acids (16%) and the high poly-unsaturated acids (72%) of any vegetable oil. It is not only cholesterol free, it actually reduces the cholesterol accumulation in the body.
It also naturally contains vitamin E, a maximum benefit can be obtained by using it raw.
Grapeseed oil contains the highest proportion of linoleic acid (70%), a fatty acid which acts as a transporter for saturated fats thus preventing accumulation in the arteries. Grapeseed oil also helps to reduce high blood pressure.
Unlike most oils, this grapeseed oil contains no preservatives. Producing the oil does not require more farmland or extra water. This oil is made from the grape seeds after the wine pressing.

Cooking Facts: Grapeseed oil has the highest flash point of any oil. this means that grapeseed oil can be heated up to 250 degress Celsius (485 degrees Fahrenheit) with no smoking, splatter or burnt taste, and does not convert to harmful trans-fatty acids as other oils do. The high flash point makes grapeseed oil an excellent choice for fondues. Grapeseed oil also has no fatty aftertaste, therefore allowing the pure flavor of fresh foods to come through.
