E-Team is a complete vitamin E supplement of natural d-alpha vitamin E, mixed tocopherols and tocotrienols. Individuals who want to prevent cognitive decline as they age may want to consider increasing their vitamin E intake, according to a new study.

Researchers conducted a population-based study from Sep. 1993 to Nov 2000 of 2,889 community residents, aged 65 to 102 years. The researchers followed the patients for an average of 3 year. The subjects completed a food frequency questionnaire, on average, 18 months after the start of the stuyd. The study authors determined their intake of antoxidant nutrients, including vitamins E and C and carotene, to see whether these nutrients are associated with reduced cognitive decline with age.

At the beginning of the study and three years later, researchers noted the cognitive change in all participants by using 4 tests. They also randomly evaluated 288 of the subjects at 6 months. The results showed that patients consuming the most vitamin E - either in food or supplements - experienced 36% less cognitive decline compared to those consuming the least.

Recommended Dosage: one to two capsules per day.
